It’s been incredibly hot here in Seattle – it seems like it’s the same everywhere though. Is it unseasonably hot where you are?
Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend a panel hosted by General Assembly Seattle at WeWork downtown featuring local bloggers Jess Estrada of Fresh Jess, Mollie Ruiz-Hopper of Mollie in Seattle and Cassandra Lavalle of Coco Kelley. It was incredibly to pick their brains about blogging – felt really fortunate to be able to chat with them.
Anyways, I wore this outfit to the panel! I wanted to look cute and trendy, but with the scorching heat, refrained from wearing anything too constricting. I actually was inspired for this outfit by some teenagers – I kid you not. I was having teriyaki with my boyfriend and best friend in Woodinville when we saw a group of 14-15 year-old girls getting ice cream. Almost every single one of them had a flannel tied around their waists. So, naturally, I stole their look and turned it into something a little more chic.
